advertised recently, which is “Food Security and Livelihood Assistant” based in Hargeisa-

Somaliland. I read the details of the above vacancy, including the personnel specification of the

I hold a Degree on Arts of Development Study from Civil service Institute, Diploma on the
project management and Monitoring & Evaluation from SOS training Center through online
distance learning, Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Edna Adan University, and

Diploma of Livestock Product and Entrepreneurship Development from IGAD sheikh

technical Veterinary school (ISTVS), Employability Skills from Havayocco Training center in

Berbera.

I have had a chain of relevant experience in social development and project cycle management

sector for over 3 years to oversee and manage nearly every aspect of the purchasing of
equipment, materials, and products in a business and to supply raw materials needed to make the
company products.

As I have been working with several organizations under different capacities. Previously, I have
worked Food Security and Livelihood as Project Assistant for Candlelight Organization;

Somaliland ministry of livestock as a team leader in emergency drought response program; I also
worked Enumerator for IOM and Terra Nouva as research field data collect and currently, I am

working as Field coordinator and livelihood assistant for ANPPCAN-SOM.

Apart from my solid educational background and experience in veterinary, I am highly

organized, good time planner, quality oriented and have a good knowledge of project planning
