II. NURSING IMPLICATIONS

A. To Nursing Practice
- This study is about an approach to a community which is beneficial to nursing practice since
community is where we find lot of people with a lot of undiagnosed diseases. This study will help us
nursing students to be guided and to have reference on how and what approach should we use before
entering a community.

B. To Nursing Education
- This study is very helpful to nursing education because it discusses about how an approach could
change a community’s perspective in accepting care. This study is beneficial to nursing education
because it demonstrate how the CBPR( community-based participatory research) helps the
KSDPP( Kahnawake schools diabetes prevention program) To reach its vision.

C. To Nursing Research
- this study will help nursing students as well as future researchers to enhance knowledge on
what approach should we use before entering a community . this study also serves as a guideline to
nursing students who also wants to have a better result while having a project on diabetes prevention.

II. PERSONAL INSIGHTS


- As a nursing student, I strongly agree to this study because it Is very helpful to us students to have a
background and have a better preparation since we have a community duty and this will serve as a
guidance for selecting and having a proper approach to a community.
