SDMC Meeting. We discussed our
annual goals that were derived from our
School Improvement Plan. Also took a
tour of the new building
Recruited a team of principal interns to 5, 6, 7, 8,9 20
assemble a team for the efforts to
explain the purpose of the Academic
Boot Camp for STAAR Exam
Tutorials. After recruitment, the team
and I collaborated with the building
principal and our campus testing
coordinator to identify students that
must retake any portions of the STAAR
Exams. Contacted over 200 parents and
students to let them know about
December’s STAAR testing schedule.
Disseminated testers’ previous STAAR
data to identify areas and strengths and
weaknesses. Recruited two teachers per
tested subject area and briefed them on
the purpose of the STAAR Boot Camp
and gave them a recommended tutorial
schedule for the 27 students (those are
the students that responded to our
messages about STAAR Boot Camp)
for the November 23rd and 24th STAAR
Boot Camp.
