Summer Camp Leader.
Recently I have been researching for a part-time job and I saw that your company has a vacancy
for Biology Tutor. I believe that with my education I am prepared to do an excellent job as a
high school tutor.
At the moment I am studying in the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce, preparing my self to
graduate for a bachelor degree in Biotechnology. I understand that one of your request is that
the person who applies for the job has to be graduated with a bachelor, but I had the
opportunity to work with teenagers in the past. I have patience and the mood to help other
understand the difficulty of this course.
Enclosed is my resume. I am prepared to begin with the job as son as need and approved. I look
forward to you response and meeting you in a future interview.
Sincerely,
Yandreliz Gonzalez

I am writing in response to an advertisement posted in Indeed.com about a job offering for a Biology
Tutor. I believe that with my knowledge and education I make an excellent candidate for the position.
I understand that your job advertisement requires a bachelor’s degree in Biology and that I do not
possess the experience required. At the moment, I am still studying, but I believe that I am the best
candidate because I have worked with high school children before and trust that I have the patience and
teaching skills necessary to fulfill your expectations. I am very familiar with the curriculum biology
classes have for high school. Meeting the student’s needs is my priority. I am here to guide the student
during the process of studying, preparing for exams and retaining the crucial terms for the course.
Enclosed is my resumé with my experience and skills. I am able to begin as soon as needed. I look
forward to meeting you in a future interview.
Sincerely,
Valerie Or engo-Casiano
