Thank you for the opportunity to assess your company and recommend data driven decision
making strategies. The analysis and recommendations below are based on my review of your
company. The analysis below is based on information provided by your staff. Therefore,
our recommendations should be tempered by your knowledge of business realities and your
market. Please let us know if we can answer any questions concerning these
recommendations.
RECOMMENDATION ON KEY STAKEHOLDERS 1 [Company Stakeholders Examination]
Analysis and Recommendation
The first steps of making a profit in the downhill of a business or organization is bringing
together the stakeholders. To make the correct data driven decisions, all the top staff would
be needed like the owners, head manager, head supervisors and any other leaders to exam the
issues that are not being done correctly. The upper management staff has the most experience
when it comes to handling issues and is able to help the process the best way possible. In
order for a business to be successful and be able to grow it we need the managers and
supervisors to be involved.
By helping the company be dynamic, we are in the process of having to make sure important
information data is being collected to help the company run a smooth process. Collecting information
for KPIs includes; what kind of item or services is being offered? Is the cost of products effecting the
company? How can we cut some expenses to help increase company’s profits? Is it needed to increase
or decrease the cost of products to be up top with our competitors? What is the best ROI that can be
used to benefit the company? That is basically the important information needed to help have a good
plan for your company. Going forward we will be examining this data for types of KPIs to help
compare one another and calculate to have the best resolution and help become more successful. I
believe by doing so it will help cut back some time and cost to be better at planning and to be able to
gather right information to help measure the qualitative and quantitative date correctly. Also by
helping the company be effective having the right Quantitative data and figuring out how make
internet services better, having goals for the company and gathering proper information for produce
data, gathering quantitative date by closed ended questions for in the long run we won’t be left with
excessive data.
The main focus while collecting data is to remember where we will keep it and how we
will be able to use it at the best time. Storing this information is important you need to make sure
it’s stored in a safe place; there are many options to store this data so that it’s safe. Software
programs such as Sitelink Web and QuickStar are great for keeping your information safe. Pie
charts and graphs are a great way for gathering data, it helps picture the data information so you
can have a better view. Having these pie charts and graphs helps employees, management and
stockholders compare numbers daily to see how the company is doing in sales. Also having pie
charts and graphs your employees can see their work and how well or bad they’ve been doing,
The five-steps for a business are great tools and are recommended to be used. The 5 steps
used are; Define, Analyze, Redesign Implement and Monitor. All these steps play a big role in a
business but the one I think is most important would be Analyzing data. By analyzing data it
helps perform all possibilities on what is going on with the business such as planning, cost and
what is being spent, issues, and customers. Using analyzing will help the company eliminate
issues or mistakes being done and we will be able to find out the issues and correct it.
business be successful and help improve their sales. Getting all your employees on the same page
with reaching goals is to provide incentives for your employees. For example, providing gift
cards, bonuses, or having parties for your employees once they’ve reached a goal would be a
good way to motivate them. Once all data is collected and being used it will make good date
decision making choices for the business. Implementing would be one of the best 5 steps in the
business process that I see works best. Technology has been a big factor in communication in
Today’s world. Emailing, texting or instant messaging can be a way to stay in touch with staff.
Through emailing, testing or instant message the information gets send immediately and
information such as pictures and important data can be sent. Any information sent can help
employees visualize what you are asking or telling and helps get things done at the business. The
5 steps in a business process are important for a company to follow so they can be successful and
continue to learn from any mistakes. By following these 5 steps it will guide the business to
success and help the staff and management make plans to grow the business.
SELF ASSESSMENT
From completing the project, I learned I have learned the importance of how it is to run a
business. Although I’ve never actually had ran a business I can visualize on how its run from doing this
project. I’ve learned the importance of implementing the 5 steps in a business and what had to be done
to help your business succeed. I believe running a business is difficult due to all the completion you have
to deal with but if you have great management and employees there should be an issue. As a business
owner you have to stay on top of your business and keep it going.
I’ve also learned the importance of KPQs roles and how to be effective using them to complete a
plan of action. It’s important to find the best data needed for a business to be able to pass that data into
the business. Presenting data into a business is also one of the important keys I’ve learned. Presenting
data will help employees and stakeholders understand any data being put together. If I ever decide to
open my daycare business I will take consideration of what I’ve learned in this project and apply it into
my business.
