Many people confuses Ethics from Morals, although both are in the same concept, but there are still
differences in between. Ethics is refers as the science of Morality because it’s trying to understand how worlds
fit together by using its principles. Morality determines right from wrong, and it’s the practice of ethics.
Although both are used interchangeable synonyms but they are just two faces of a coin.

The article above concerns with ethical principles showing the misbehavior of a judge towards the victim.
In the sense of professionalism this is unacceptable, thus this matter contradicts the professional ethics that
governs the behavior of and individual in the business environment. Basically, the judge used a disrespectful
approach in giving aid to the plaintiff.

In my personal judgment, it is not right to blame the victim of her misfortune. Rape is caused by a rapist
not by the victim itself. The judge have taken the victim’s right to be respected by its offensive remarks. The
judge crosses not just the victims right but also the ethical principles - Respect for autonomy and
Nonmaleficence . Respect Autonomy is one basic principle that obliges us to respect others decision. In
Nonmaleficence holds that there is an obligation not to inflict harm on others and that include - Do not cause
pain or suffering. Therefore, base on the ethical principles the judge have inflicted pain towards the victim.
Also, in the article above stated that the committee recommended a suspension spanning three months without
pay. This unethical and unprofessional act shall set an example to be refrained.
