1. How teamwork works in the company is that teamwork improves innovation and
creativity. IDEO implements group brainstorming is used to create ideas for them
in order to get things going. They utilize the skills of every member as much as
possible and solve their problems together because they believe in diversity
enabling higher quality and more innovation. Their system in innovating is
identifying and observing how people use their products in order for them to find
out and assess in order for them to innovate solutions so that they refine and
improve their products.
2. First, the diversity among the corporation is meant to improve innovation and
creativity because it allows fresh new ideas instead of just having the same ones
over and over because having that diverse group of individuals have different
points of view, and they use those points of view to come up with creative plans
so that every member can be fully utilized to the best of their abilities.
3. I would first want members who are smart, creative, and thinks outside the box
because they could come up with ideas that can be the most efficient in a
situation. Next, I would want members that take the initiative to work. Everyone in
a group wants every individual to contribute and collaborate with each other
which is why they want people to take that extra step to get more work done.
Lastly, I would want someone that can effectively communicate with the rest of
the group or team. Everyone needs to know what to do and where they are
meant to be.
