Table 1.1 Culture

Individuals The uniform leads to the employee's self-confidence because he is
employees surrounded by a team that wears as he wears so he does not feel
shy, which leads to work in every comfort

Effect Example Dress code Zara provides a full uniform for their employees
on: including shoes. and that's uniform divide into three things first
black jeans and black shirts with white shoes
Teams A formal dress policy can flatten an organization's hierarchy and
(company) increase cohesiveness in the workplace.
Your opinion of your In my opinion Documenting employees about customers, which will
organization’s culture leads to an increase in the percentage of sales and customer
satisfaction

Organizational politics is a behind-the-scenes process to gain and

showcase the perceived power. It refers to the influencing tactics and
the activities that are undertaken to retain personal control in the
workplace. In most cases, it is seen that employees use organizational
politics as a tool to misuse their power, gain extreme popularity and
tarnish the image of someone else in their company.

Table 1.2 Politics

Individuals When a front line employee bypasses his immediate supervisor, it
demonstrates a lack of respect and professional courtesy. Tensions
between supervisor and employee may increase, trust and
communication may break down, and disciplinary action can result
Example By passing the chain of command. refers to a company's hierarchy of
Effect reporting relationships – from the bottom to the top of an organization, who must
on: answer to whom. The chain of command not only establishes accountability, it
lays out a company's lines of authority and decision-making power

Teams Negatively affects the completion of tasks in the company and the
(Company) reason is placing an incompetent person for this position that will
destroy company goals and achievements .so Zara fixe this problem
by providing an exam for any employee who upgrades at work.
Your opinion of your
organization’s politics In my opinion A breakdown in the chain of command can cause
significant strife within in workforce that will affect the completion of
tasks and the achievement of goals within the company badly

Power is the ability to influence the behavior of others directly or

indirectly. Power can be categorized according to its source and as one of
two main types: formal power and personal power

Table 1.3 Power

Effect Individuals Affects employees in a positive way, which drives them to do their
on: and teams work at its best and strengthens the employee’s personality, which
(company) will affect the company's revenues by increasing. For example, Zara
rewards its employees with annual trips that include all costs for the
employees who receive a rating of 10 out of 10 of their managers
Example reward power. Reward power is conveyed through rewarding individuals
for compliance with one's wishes. This may be done through giving bonuses,
raises, a promotion, extra time off from work, etc. For example, the supervisor
who provides employees comp time when they meet an objective she sets for a
project

Your opinion of your

organization’s power In my opinion maybe it is bad if we think in this way for example if
we are giving out the same reward over and over again can cause
some rewards to lose their power it will eventually become
demotivating if we give the same reward every time and that cost
money for the company so it will get some financial issue
