THE INFLUENCE OF FOREIGN CLUTURE ON FASHION

ABSTRACT:

Fashion is that the most necessary thing for society because by the style it's easy to
support the thought of modernization of any area. India has given the world zero,
architecture, culture, customs. Another contribution that possesses to be added to the list
is fashion. India has long been an inspiration to worldwide fashion. The sheer amount of
diversity and attracts that designers can draw from every region is immense and no other
country can be compared thereto. Here there are some examples that foreign countries
influenced our fashion culture like Headgear, Nose ring, Embroidery, Indian folk prints,
etc...
Due to the Britishism the India’s culture has affected by the west. Today Indian fashion is
reflected the western culture. With 29 states, 8 union territories and multiple dialects,
India is a land of great diversity and each state has its own fashion like sarees, salwar
kameezes and necklines etc... Let's see some of the western influences Indian culture:
Short- Style Kurtis, Casual Crinkled Crepes & A-Lined Skirts, Denims, Strap & Halter
Neck Blouses, etc...
