Milwaukee Brewers, Kopp’s Launch Contest of a Lifetime in Promotion

for their new food truck: Kopp’s Frozen Custard 2-Go

One Lucky Fan Will Win the Chance to Throw the First Pitch at the Brewers Next Home Game and a
Scoop of Kopp’s New Custard Flavor Available only May 24

Greenfield, WIS. (April 18, 2019) – Kopp’s Frozen Custard is partnering with the Milwaukee Brewers on May 24
at Miller Park by launching a contest where the Racing Sausages represent Kopp’s different menu options, and fans
pick which sausage will win the race to promote their new Kopp’s Frozen Custard 2-Go food truck that’s first stop
will be at the game.

The winner is selected after the race during the seventh inning stretch. The fan will get to throw the first pitch and
meet the Brewers players at the next home game. Also, right then and there, the fan receives a scoop of Kopp’s new
custard flavor: Brewers Blueberry Lemon. Fans write their information down, guess which Racing Sausage will
win and then their guess will be put into the box that represents the specific Kopp’s menu option. The Racing
Sausages will represent the main products that Kopp’s offers: hamburgers/cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches,
sides (onion rings, French fries), custard flavors, and sundaes.

“Kopp’s has always been a favorite spot of mine and this is definitely one of the coolest things I’ve gotten to do as
Milwaukee Brewer. I’m so excited that one of our fans gets to have this kind of once in a life time opportunity and
that all the fans can be introduced to this amazing restaurant,” said Christian Yelich, center fielder for the Brewers.
“It pumps us to be able to give them something in return for the support and love they always give us. It’s nice that
we get to actually give them something back.”

Starting at 5 p.m. Kopp’s Frozen Custard 2-Go food truck will be in the Uecker general parking lot. The truck will
offer hamburgers and cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, sundaes and four flavors of
custard including vanilla, swiss chocolate and flavor of the day. It will also offer new flavor available only on May
24: Brewers Blueberry Lemon. Prices will range from $4 to $12 and the truck accepts both cash and credit cards.

In addition to the contest and the truck, the Racing Sausages and Bernie Brewer will be at the food truck before the
game from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. so fans can take pictures and tailgate with the mascots.

“I have been a huge Brewers fan all my life, so this is a dream come true,” said Dick “Mac” McGuire, owner of the
Kopp's Frozen Custard on Bluemound Road in Brookfield. “After almost 70 years in business, we thought it was
time to reach customers in a new, exciting way. We have always loved our location in the metro Milwaukee area,
but with our new food truck we can reach a whole new group of people including the city goers and out of towners
who may have not even heard of us or don’t live near here.

About Kopp’s Frozen Custard

Founded by Elsa Kopp in 1950, the Kopp’s Frozen Custard stand rose in popularity quickly during the 1950s and
was soon seen as a Milwaukee staple. By 1960, the Kopp’s stand was successful enough that Elsa felt comfortable
experimenting with more exotic frozen custard recipes. Today, we specialize in frozen custard and “jumbo”
hamburgers. In addition to our newly launched food truck experience, we operate in three locations in the metro
Milwaukee area: Greenfield, Brookfield, and Glendale. Our restaurants continue to be recognized for our quality
food. Visit kopps.com for more information.
