Their problem was high electricity costs and were looking for a permanent relief from increasing electricity bills. Solution: Four Solar has been selected as the EPC Contractor for the rocttop solar project after a thorough examination of our previous work and interaction with our engineering team. Qur goal was to reduce power bills, give ROI and offer FREE POWER FOR LIFE, Aftera thorough site survey and analysis, we found few challenges in planning and designing the project as the roofs are distributed. Though they have good rooftop space on the main building, we had to install panels on two buildings due to shadow from trees and tall structures. With proper planning of cable layout, we could achieve distribution of solar energy to the distribution board that is farther than normal accepted range. The design of panel laying, cable routing and inverter locations had to be effective to minimise DC and AC losses, which we were successlul in achieving the goal. The project was executed professionally and has been running from December 2016 successfully. We had used 250 watts Vikram Solar panels mounted on aluminum structure and inverters from German company SMA New Energy's Zever Solar, a world leading company. The energy generation has been good since day one, for which the customer is really happy to see savings on power bills.
