At its simplest, ethics is a principle or rule that define right and wrong conduct.

The primary task of


ethics is to guide one's action. It affects how people make decisions and lead their lives. Ethics deals
with such questions at all levels. Its subject consists of the fundamental issues of practical decision
making, and its major concerns include the nature of ultimate value and the standards by which human
actions can be judged right or wrong. According to John Deigh.. "Ethics is the study of what are good or
bad to pursue in life and what is right and wrong to do in the conduct of life." Therefore, ethics pertains
to individuals how they choose to interact with each other.

In regards to police ethics, it is a broad interpretation when it comes to the connection of ethics to
police ethics. We as a future law enforcement officer, it is a vital perspective and analysis when it comes
to ethical standard in law enforcement. Police ethics play a vital role in the development of an emulative
law enforcement officer. Because this will serve as a rule of conduct to public service.

On the other hand, morality has a big and deep sense. Morality is a foundation of every human society.
If a country no longer observed morality then that certain country has been beyond from what is right
and wrong. It seems that their moral acts is bizarre because there is an absence of standards or norms.
Citizens have the potential to commit unethical actions. The action as well are unusual tha way they
interact to the other people. Definitely, this things will affect the entire perception of the community.
