1. Adada Enterprises Ltd, a reputable organisation has a piece of land which is in a

good location. It is approached by Bally Ltd, a Company with a financial muscle.
They both agree that there exists a shortage of houses in Lusaka and they
choose to bring to the table what each entity has, thus land and money. To
facilitate the smooth operation of the project, a purpose vehicle by the name of
Muntu Wandi Ltd is incorporated. Unknown to Adada enterprises Ltd, Bally Ltd
only brings money for 20 houses and thereafter Muntu Wandi Ltd starts selling
the houses and using the proceeds to develop the remaining houses. This would
affect the agreed sharing of profits. Adada enterprises ltd is displeased and
before it goes to Court, it approaches your to inquire what are its rights under
the arrangement with Bally Ltd .

2. It is the week before Independence day and Mukonto’s house is robbed. The
thieves steal many items, including her Great-Grandfather’s watches he was
given at independence. Manyozo is distraught and puts an advertisement in the
Mulomo newspaper and offers a reward of K1,00.00 for whoever finds and
returns the precious medals. Smaz is a cleaner at the local shopping centre. As
he was emptying the bins, the watch fell out of the rubbish. Not knowing whom
they belong to, he took them to his local police station, who in turn contacted
Manyozo. Manyozo was overjoyed at the return of the medals. Smaz then reads
the paper and sees Manyozo’s advertisement. Smaz now wants to claim the
reward of K1, 00.00 she promised. and approaches you for advise.
