• Cris: Good morning colleagues, my name is Cristhiam Amaya, the reason for today's meeting is that

we are going to define the distribution route for our product.

• valentina: I think it is very important to define the distribution route Mr. Cristhiam.

• Albeiro: Our product is roses, and they will be transported from Colombia to the United States.

• Cris: Air transport is considered one of the fastest and safest forms of transport, especially for fragile

or non-perishable products.

• Albeiro: In Colombia we also have the option of maritime transport, which over time has been

adapted for this type of product.

• valentina: It is true that there is the air and sea option. The airplane in this case would be the best

option since the product cannot last as long as it travels since it can be damaged and what we want is

to deliver a good quality product.

• Cris: Investigate the possible routes and the one t hat most applies to our product, is the east coast

either from Bogotá or Cali and would arrive at the JFK (John F. Kennedy) airport since it is the

closest to our destination which is Nueva York

• valentina: traveling by plane is much more expensive, but it is worth taking it

• albeiro: on the other hand, in maritime cargo, more production could be transported and it would

have a lower cost

• cris: if maritime transport is taken, we must risk losing part of the merchandise and even all of it.

Considering our production plant and destination city, we could distribute our product more

efficiently by air.
