TECHNICAL WRITE-UP

Item No.1: VALVE GUIDE LOCK :

A valve guide lock installed in cylinder heads of internal combustion engines which includes a
hollow body, a beveled pilot flange, a locking flange to flow material into, an annular groove to
receive and pack displaced material and lock the valve guide to the workpiece to prevent axial
movement.

Item No. 2: DISCHARGE VALVE GUIDE RETAINER PLATE

A valve guide retainer plate is provided for each poppet valve in the cylinder head. Along with
the valve spring, it serves to positively locate the valve so that it may make proper contact with
the valve seat. A valve guide is a cylindrical piece of metal, pressed or integrally cast into the
cylinder head, with the valve reciprocating inside it. Guides also serve to conduct heat from the
combustion process out from the exhaust valve and into the cylinder head where it may be
taken up by the cooling system.

Item No. 3,11: PISTON ROD WITH NUT, PISTON ROD CLAMP WITH BOLT & NUT

In a piston engine, a piston rod joins a piston to the crosshead and thus to the connecting rod
that drives the crankshaft or the driving wheels.

Item No. 4: VALVE SEAT Part No. GH161-05.11.06:

A valve seat is the part of the cylinder head that mates with the valve face.
Valve seat recession occurs when valve seats wear and the valve sink recedes into the cylinder
head.

Item No. 5: GUIDE LOWER SUCTION VALVE Part No. 1134286:

Suction guides are designed to mount directly on the suction and side of pump to prevent, the
system and costly components from hazardous foreign particles and water impurities and
reduce fittings, while minimizing the use of space these are use of space.

Item No. 6: EXTENSION ROD CLAMP :

The Clamp Extension Rods are non-conductive rods have male and female threads at opposite
ends to screw together and extend the length. With the signal clamp attached to the extension
rod it can now be safely used.

The extension rod is fitted with a 10mm threaded male stud. This male thread screws into the
handle of the signal clamp to extend the distance of the clamp.

Item No. 7: VALVE ASSEMBLY API7

A valve assembly is a complete valve mechanism including all peripheral devices directly
related to the installation and functioning of the valve. The term may be applied to all valve

types, including fluid flow control valves and internal combustion engine valves. A valve
assembly typically includes the entire fluid control mechanism and its casing, electrical or
mechanical actuation mechanisms, and any related connectors, external sensors, and
fasteners. In some cases, valve assemblies are supplied with ancillary devices, such as
mounting adapter sets, shim selections, and spare seals.

Item No. 8: VALVE INSERT

The valve seat insert prevents the impact/burying of the valve into the cylinder head. It absorbs
a proportion of the combustion heat with which the valve is charged. The valve seat insert gives
off this heat to the cylinder head. To meet the different strains, an optimum material composition
of the valve seat inserts must be found

Item No. 9,10 : 7" & 6 ½” BI-METAL LINER

Bimetal liner made from HCWCI and carbon steel has been successfully developed and
produced by liquid composite LFC. The composite possesses superior properties, including high
hardness, high corrosive wear resistance and reasonable fracture toughness.

Item No.12: VALVE GUIDE ASSEMBLY

A valve guide assembly installed in cylinder heads of internal combustion engines which
includes a hollow body, a beveled pilot flange, a locking flange to flow material into, an annular
groove to receive and pack displaced material and lock the valve guide to the work piece to
prevent axial movement.

Item No.13, 15: PISTON RUBBER 6 ½” , 7 ”:

Piston rubber is a molded rubber product. Piston Rubber is made from specially formulated
compounds which are resistant to the effect of heat, oil and water. The nylon fabric reinforced
backings used in the production of the Piston Rubbers with very good performance of high
tensile strength & high wear resistant.

Item No.14, 16: PISTON ASSEMBLY 6 ½” , 7 ”: :

Piston assembly consists of a piston, piston rings and piston pin known as gudgeon pin.
Functions of piston assembly are given below:

 It transmits gas force generated during combustion to the connecting rod and crankshaft.

 As piston is connected to small end of the connecting rod with the help of gudgeon pin. It
guides the connecting rod when gas force is transmitted.

 Air/fuel mixture is compressed by piston.

 Piston rings restrict the flow of hot gases into the crankcase. This is also referred as
blow by control.

 Piston rings lubricate the cylinder wall.

 Piston rings restrict the amount of oil from crankcase into the gap between piston and
cylinder head.

 Heat is transferred to the cylinder wall from piston by piston rings.

Item No.17: PONY ROD :

Pony Rod is a long steel rod used for joining downhole components of a piston pump with the
surface in an oil well. The rod is threaded from both sides and is commonly available in three
variant diameters of 3/4, 7/8 and 1. Due to high tensile strength, the rod is efficiently designed to
face diverse challenges such as high loads, corrosive environments hence it has full control
over rod friction

Item No.17:VALVE SPRING :

A valve spring is placed around the stem of a valve and held in place by a retainer. Its main job
is to control the entire valve train, ensuring that the proper amount of spring pressure is
applied consistently to prevent valve bounce.

Item No.17 LINER SEAL:

Liners made of zirconia ceramic can offer lifetime cost savings, significantly longer service,
better performance and safer operation than sleeves made of more commonly used chrome iron
or alumina ceramic, according to data developed by manufacturers.

Item No.18 RETAINER SEAL

A retaining seal that holds components or assemblies onto a shaft or in a housing/bore when

installed - typically in a groove - for one time use only. Once installed, the exposed portion acts
as a shoulder which retains the specific component or assembly. Circlips are a type of retaining
ring.

ALL THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE CONSUMABLES.
