1. For me, leadership is something that develop strong team spirit though leading people
with the process of creating, planning and securing resources to be use. The success of
one organization depends upon its presence because without leadership, no
organization can succeed. But like the other aspects of success, leadership also requires
quality—a good quality such as self-confidence and positivity which applies both in
business and personal life. Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most excellent example of a
good leader, he made the British leave India and he influence others without causing
war. The goal of leadership is aimed by mutual cooperation of the leader and the
follower in which it also motivates them to work together as a team. According to Keith
Davis, ‘’it is the ability to persuade others to seek defined objectives enthusiastically.’’, it
is more like a leader influencing his people for same objectives. To make it short,
leadership aims at goal achievement.

2. What I chose to describe is the Trait theories of leadership. This theory identifies the
correct qualities and traits that a leader should possess which includes physical
appearance, intelligence, and self-confidence. Traits theory helps distinguish leaders
from non-leaders though different traits identified by the researchers. This theory are
based on the premise that leaders are born than made, that means leadership is innate
rather than being learned. This theory were widely used to predict leadership
effectiveness comparing their qualities to assess their likelihood of success or failure.
Successful leaders definitely have those traits such as self-confidence, sociability,
persistence, initiative and more that are different from those of the less effective
leaders. These traits are not the only basis to distinguish success and failure but it is for
me the most important factor that endow people with leadership potential. The
importance of this theory are largely appreciated especially in business organization. It
is served as the achievement drive, and leadership motivation. Well, this is just my
opinion regarding this theory wherein these are simply my generalities and I accept
judgment for this thing.
