Guidelines for Abstract and Full-Paper Submission

 Students are required to submit an extended abstract of about 1200-1500 words consisting of:
 Cover page consisting of:
o Title of the Paper,
o Name of Authors,
o Affiliation,
o Status (years completed in the program),
o Contact details (e-mail, phone number). For more than one author, please
indicate who is the corresponding author for the paper
o No identifying markers (name, affiliation, contact details should appear on
any other page except the cover page).
o Content on the Cover page is not counted in the word limit for the abstract
submission.
 Body of the Extended Abstract (counted for the word limit):
o Title
o Abstract
o Key words
o Brief Introduction
o Brief Literature Review
o Context and Problem Statement/ Research Question
o Methodology
o Key Results/ Findings
o Discussion/ Conclusion
o Theoretical and/or Managerial Implications and
 Key references
A similar format is to be followed for the final paper submission. Prepare the extended
abstract and the full-paper in .docx or .pdf format with Times New Roman font, size 12 and
typed in 1.5 spacing with 1” margins on all sides. The paper should not have been
published/ accepted for publication in any academic journal.
 Process:
 This extended abstract will undergo a blind review, and the corresponding author
will be intimated about the acceptance of the paper.
 Upon acceptance of the extended abstract, the doctoral student can submit the full-
paper (not exceeding 8,000 words) which the student will further present at the
Doctoral Consortium.
 Only students who submit the full paper, will be eligible to compete for the best
paper awards and commendable research certificates.
