So we all know that the Rolex Submariner is a good diving watch. But what we
didn't know is that the beloved Sub could sink to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean,
only to be recovered months later, and still work (after a bit of winding).

bit of winding).

Yes, you read that correctly. The story is, a gentleman was fishing in the
SHOP
Pacific Ocean off the coast of British Columbia when his Submariner's
bracelet snaed on his fishing rod. The watch promptly flew into the
ocean and sank. The quick-thinking owner marked his coordinates and
miraculously worked out a deal with a local dredging barge to search the
area from time to time (for a fee of $ per hour with a $ , cash
reward).

Miraculously, months later, the watch was found in meters of water

and after a few turns of the crown – it worked! Although not pictured,
there was apparently a barnacle attached to the bezel. The watch is
