To Whom It May Concern,

It’s my great pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Megan Snodgrass as she continues her
college education in the fall. As a past student of Red Bluff High School, I taught Megan in both the floral
design and agriculture science pathways and served as one of her advisors for the FFA during this time.
Megan impressed me with her intellectual curiosity, passion for learning, and dedication towards herself
and her future. Given her background, I’m confident that she is the ideal candidate for any scholarship or
college she applies to.

I taught Megan in my class over the past three years. I also worked closely with her as her advisor on a
career development team. She’s a talented floral designer and student who gives insightful ideas and
collaboration with class projects and labs. I know that Megan has the necessary skills and depth of
thought to be successful in whatever she chooses in her future career. She has been an outstanding
student both inside my class and in her high school career. She is ranked at the top of her class and has
her grades and education as her number one priority. She is able to keep these high scores while being
extremely active throughout her high school career. She has a large community service background
giving back through the FFA Community Service Committee; she is currently serving as the chairman.
She has also been very involved in other school activities including the high school swim team, Connect
Crew, and has had a high level of dedication and involvement in FFA over the duration of her high school
years. She has participated anywhere from raising a market hog at our county fair for the past four years,
to serving as a Chapter Officer. She has participated in local all the way up to state FFA leadership
conferences and was highly committed to the Land Judging career development team in which she has
traveled across the state to complete.

Megan knows the importance of giving back to her community; she has given hundreds of hours back
through Red Bluff FFA. She has been involved in events like organizing a local canned food drive, the
local Dairyville Orchard Festival and local events like the Farm-City Night, and the annual consigners’
dinner at the Bull and Gelding Sale. She has received several awards for her time and commitment to her
school and community include FFA member of the month, her Greenhand, Chapter Farmer Degree and
State FFA Degrees.

Megan has my wholehearted and unequivocal support in her future endeavors for any scholarship or
college to which she applies. She’s hard-working, thoughtful, charismatic, and open-minded, and she has
a clear commitment to both her passion and the future of agriculture. I have no doubt that Megan will
make an outstanding student, and I share her excitement over this next venture. Please don’t hesitate to
contact me for any more information. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Lacy Trunnell
