Activity 1

1. On the verse 11 of Genesis Chapter 17, it is stated that a man shall circumcise the flesh of
his foreskin because it is a token of the covenant between God and the man. It is significant
because it symbolizes a man’s faith to God. It is like a sacrifice so that a man can be called
God’s child. It is also holy because it is an everlasting agreement between man and God.
2. I think the appropriate symbol of the covenant between God and the Filipinos is a baptism.
Baptism is like a spiritual agreement between God and the man. When a Filipino is
baptized it cleanses your soul and will give you an everlasting life together with God. It
makes us a child of God and with this we can follow what He wanted us to do.
3. A special relationship with God transforms a person because when you are closer to God
you have deeper faith on Him and that gives you more love and inner peace. It makes you
good and by that you also share goodness and kindness with other people. He changes us
from being worst to being the best version of us. He makes us walk with His faith and by
that we can do good things with other people as well.

Activity 2

1. Abraham sacrificing Isaac is a greatest expression of faith because Abraham had the
opportunity to disobey God but he still chose to sacrifice his only son whom he waited for
years. This only shows that He believed whatever God had promised to him. God wants
Abraham to sacrifice his only son whom he deeply loved willingly, even though it was
painful for him. He knew that God will bless him and will offer redemption.
2. I think some of us find it difficult to give our total yes to God because of hesitation, doubt
and weaker faith. Some of focus more on the bad things rather than focusing on what God
had promised to us. Some of us have a weak spiritual faith because we don’t fully trust
God and that tend us to doubt His power.
3. Yes, it is possible for us to think God’s goodness despite of our greatest trials and
sufferings. It is because we believed that God is powerful and He can lift up our sufferings
or at least lessen the burden we felt. We believed in His mercy and miracle. We all knew
that He was in control of our lives. All of the challenges we encountered is God’s way of
reminding that He is with us through the difficult times of our lives.

Activity 3
1. God is really a Forgiving-God. Despite of all the sins we have, he still chose to love us.
Yes, I do believe in this truth. And honestly, it makes me inspire and console me at the
same time. I’ve done numerous mistakes and I am not proud of it. It makes me realize
that God is always there waiting for us and will openly lend His hand unto us. He will let
us realize our mistakes but He will never abandon us. We always have a room for change
and He’s the only person who will not judge us.
2. Through this, it will help me to love my siblings more. That I should always appreciate
them no matter what. There is no competition in the first place; instead I should love
them unconditionally. We should pour our love to each other.
3. He Will Carry You is an inspirational song. It assures me that God will take care of me
no matter what the circumstances are. Life is never easy; it will test us and challenge us.
But despite of the unfortunate things I’ll encounter, God’s grace will lift me. God will
never leave me no matter what challenges I may encounter in the future. He will save me
as long as I have trust on Him. Miracle is always possible with Him.
