I have learned a lot from our topic for today in reporting, it may be hard for us to learn
during this pandemic, the group reporter lately discussed the topic well. We all know that the
language is one of the tools to understand and communicate with other people or nation, and
language connects us from different dimension it may be verbal or nonverbal. Linguistic is a
study of language and linguist will teach us the proper usage and structures of the languages. I
have learned that there are seven major level of linguistics, and these are, phonetics, phonology,
morphology, syntax, semantics and lastly, pragmatics. I have learned that there’s a difference in
a sentence in a way that you can change the arrangement of words but the meaning is just the
same. And there is a sentence that you can arrange it words then the meaning would be different.
As well as the view of some thing, it may be different in the perspective of different minds of the
people. And we may also change the verb into a noun, as well as the noun can be into a verb or
adverbs. Also, the study about the distance relativeness, it depends on how we socialize with
different people which is the pragmatics. Linguistic is not just the study of a language itself,
because it tackles about the different usage of proper language in every situation. And Linguistic
will help us to learn the things and meanings that we might not aware of.
