1. Last year, a group of politically motivated persons organized a protest march against
welfare measures initiated by the Government because they believed that the State
action involved infringement of their long held religious practices.

Amidst their protest, a group of people shouted ‘Bhara t tere tuk de hon ge insha-allah
insha-allah’ and attempted to violate the esteem of the national flag. All of this got
recorded in Cameras.

In their version, these people said that they were exercising their right to freedom of
expression and the same is promised to them by the Constitution of India.

What is your take on it? (Mark s 15)

2. During the Anti-Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 protests people under great
disbelief of the Government and under the fictional apprehension of losing their
1
citizenship resorted to violence at several places in the country. To express their ire
people became somehow more expressive and caused immense loss to public property
besides creating utter chaos.

Protesters claim that they were engaged in peaceful protests only and it was police
that provoked them to be that way expressive.

A few Indian States have now put in place a law requiring anybody who causes loss to
public property as a means to coerce the State to replenish the loss of public property.

Critically examine the constitutional validity of any such law (as aforesaid).
(Mark s 15)

3. Right to information is a much-cherished right of the Indian citizens.

With regards to the RTI Act, 2005 tell as to whether a married woman can get
information regarding salary of his public servant husband for the purpose of claiming
maintenance from him? What is your answer ‘Yes/No’?

Justify your answer with quality legal discussion. (Mark s 15 )

4. A filmmaker makes a movie in the name of India culture but depicts lots of vulgarity
and obscenity in it. Censor Board of Film Certification denies him a certificate
without 40 cuts in his screen show.

The film maker released his un-edited work on an OTT platform.

Elaborately discuss the issue at hand with special reference to the Cinematography
Act, 1952. (Mark s 15 )
