1 Suggestions for business schools based upon Study Background

and Market research:

 Develop links with industry and send students to different organizations to complete
practical assignments through university’s own reference.
 Utilize summers and arrange workshops on Excel, Access and SPSS etc.
 Increase field visits during the semester in order to give grads chance of building
networks
 Hire more industry professionals as faculty who can deliver practical knowledge to
students
 Develop numeracy skill of HR and MKT students also
 Encourage case study culture in order to improve analytical skills of grads
 Increase emphasis over projects and practical assignments
 Introduce Pricing as a subject for marketing students and office automation course for all
students of business studies
 Encourage applied research based projects having practical application in real world
 Add business simulations in course work
 Increase practical content in proportion with theory
 Jointly redesign curriculum by aligning it with industry requirements
 Add psychological content that can develop attitude of graduates towards learning and

A pre skills test will be conducted to check and measure the skills that
graduates possess in terms of three dimensions described above. Score will be given out of 700,
100 for each skill. Then graduates are passed through whole three month process, at the end
again test is taken and scored accordingly out of 700. Results are compared and internship
opportunity will be given to top three scorers. As usually, internships are gateway to enter in any
organization to get the job. However certificates will be given to all graduates at the end of
process.
