Some months ago I found myself struggling to organise my wardrobe. At that point I
came to realisation that I may have too many things, and more importantly: even though
I was somehow attached to those things, they were not making me happy.
I started looking on the Internet and I found minimalism, it seemed a no brainer to adopt
minimalism as a lifestyle. However, this journey must be done carefully and slowly.
The amount of benefits that minimalism can bring to your life is countless.
The whole idea behind minimalism is to possess things that either bring happiness into
your life or make it easier.
Having fewer things, you spend less time cleaning and organising. As result, you can
focus on more important things such as your health or relationships. On top of that, it
reduces stress as you have less clutter fewer choices. You will save money as well, as
you will choose more wisely the things that you buy.
Minimalism not only applies to physical things, but also intangible issues such as
focusing our attention on things that are under our control or avoiding not constructive
thoughts.
The reason why I decided to talk about minimalism in this section is because
minimalism can improve our mental health and our general wellness, as it can be
perceived as a journey towards your inward self.
I would like to invite you to read more about the topic or watch some videos online, it is
a beautiful journey to embark on.
