2. ePM Menu
In the Siro section select TEST01 in the survey area and
Go button.
The TEST01 area should be used for all your training
activities, you can test whatever you want in this area.
3. Survey
At the bottom left of your screen you have an informative and search panel:
- indication of the current user;
- the delta (Δ) indicates distance between crosshairs and their angle (<);
- latitude and longitude from crosshair nº 1;
- address bar and find button, in the address bar please fill the most
accurate possible address information, as it will zoom to the first
result from Google Maps.
At the moment the Menu, Edit and Zoom buttons are not yet operational.

Basic rules:
- Location should be enabled for this website;
- Mobile data should be always on:
- Crosshair 1 is where you insert single point objects like poles, vaults, minipillars and
ground mounted subs;
- Vector objects like overhead spans and ducts use the 2nd crosshair ;
- The yellow fields are mandatory;
- The presurvey option enables you to bypass all the mandatory fields;
- All data (except photos) is uploaded to Gaeltec’s survey database real-time, this application
can cache data if the mobile network isn’t accessible but you need to synchronize before logoff
(to synchronize you need a mobile network available);
- Photos are stored in your device and should be sent later.
3.1. Pole

3.2. Overhead Span
To insert an overhead span you need a pole in each

crosshair.

3.3. Stay
To insert a stay you need a pole in crosshair 1,

crosshair 2 is used to determine stay horizontal
angle.
3.4. Vault

3.5. Duct Span
Ducts are used to connect poles, vaults, minipillars or

ground mounted subs, and there should be one of these
objects under each crosshair.
Duct color is determined by availability and duct

conditions:
- Yellow: ducts presents good conditions but
hasn’t been roded;
- Red: all ducts are blocked or full;
- Green: ducts have been roded and there is at
least one duct available for cable installation;
- Orange: direct buried cables only.
