My previous healthcare experience has strengthened my ability to notice inconsistencies with patient care or within the chart that need to be addressed which allows me to advocate for my patient better. ‘Some examples being. noticing my patient’s labs and talking to the nurse about a blood transfusion and when I had the patient with MS, I had advocated for him by ensuring his tum schedule was being followed.
