India to America

India is a country with moderate weather. So people here measure temperature in


Celsius scale. America is country with cold weather. So people there measure
temperature in Fahrenheit scale. Some students of LPU are going for an international
exposure visit to America. Since it is the first time for them, they find it very difficult to
follow their temperature readings. Write a program to help them understand the
American temperature readings easier, based on their Indian way of understanding.

The mysterious multiplying Jar

In the Atlantic ocean, there is an island and on this island there are two countries. In
each country there are three mountains and on each mountain, there are four walled
kingdoms. In each kingdom, there are five villages. In each village, there are six
houses. In each house, there are seven rooms and in each room there were eight
cupboards. In each cupboard, there were nine boxes. In each box, there were ten jars.

So help us find how many jars are there in the Island?

Given two inputs Inp1 and Inp2, write a program to check whether
Inp1 is greater than 18 and Inp2 is greater than 40.

Blood bank

A team from Lions club had planned to conduct a rally to create awareness among
the people to donate blood. They conducted the rally successfully and many came
forward to donate their blood in the near by blood bank. The eligibility criteria for
donating blood is people should be above 18 and his/ her weight should be above
40. There was a huge crowd and the blood bank members found it difficult to
manage the crowd. So they required an entry portal, which would ask the people to
enter their age and weight in system. If a person is eligible, he / she will be allowed
inside.

Write a program required for the entry portal to find whether a person is
eligible for blood donation or not.

WAP to find the largest number from an array of n integers.

Magic Show

30 students of a primary school were attending a magic show. The magician needs
one volunteer for one of his magic trick. So he asked one of the students to
volunteer and come on the stage. As the show was interesting, all the students were
interested and ready to volunteer. To choose one volunteer, the magician asked the
teacher to select one student. The teacher told the students that the student having
the maximum cash in his pocket will go to stage.

Write a program to help the teacher to identify the students having


maximum cash in his pocket.

Chocolate Uncle

John’s Uncle is running a Restaurant in Mumbai city. In Every summer vacation,


John visits to his place to enjoy the weather of Mumbai in summer season. Last
summer vacations john decided to help his uncle in his uncle restaurant business.
Every evening, he was going to his uncle’s restaurant and putting all the entries of
customer bills into computer for automation purpose. Everyday, he was rewarded
with twice the number of chocolates received from the previous day as a return
gift from his uncle after completing the data entry work.
If on first day, he got two chocolates from his uncle, find out how many chocolates
in total John had received as gift from his uncle in the whole summer vacations last
year , if he had spent 35 days in Mumbai with him.
