    Personal Experience:
    I had a patient last semester who suffered from heart failure. For months, my previous patient “Jane” was feeling fatigued and was SOB, then
    suffered heart palpations one day. She went to her MD and was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and HF. Jane’s condition was left unchecked, so
    she suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. Her symptoms included SOB at night, during exercise or when lying supine; fatigue;
    coughing; lack of appetite; sudden weight gain; and rapid heartbeat.
