    Guidelines for filling vacant seats in Self Finance institutes


    (SFI) for M.E./ M. Tech./M. Pharm. courses for 2020-21

    The Vacant seats in Self-Finance Institutes (SFI) shall be filled as per


    provisions of rule 20 of prevailing notification. Accordingly, candidates
    fulfilling eligibility criteria of notification for admission to M.E./M. Tech/M.
    Pharm courses dated 30.6.2020 issued by Education department
    Government of Gujarat (available on committee's website) shall have to
    contact the concerned self-finance institute of his choice between
    7-11-2020 to 30-11-2020 for vacant seats admission process at the
    institute of his choice and preference. The candidate has to submit his
    application with all requisite documents at the concerned institution within
    the prescribed time limit.

    The concerned self-finance institute shall process the filling up of vacant


    seats among eligible candidates by displaying vacant seats details on its
    website, counseling schedule, preparing common intra-se merit list between
    7/11/2020 to 30/11/2020 and complete the entire process latest by
    30/11/2020 in accordance with all provisions of prevailing admission
    notifications of Government of Gujarat for admission to M.E. /M. Tech/M.
    Pharm. courses. The Merit list will be based on valid GATE/GPAT
    score/marks or Common Entrance Test (CET) marks, duly obtained by
    candidate or any such merit based scheme as declared by the concerned
    institution, giving priority to GATE/GPAT qualified candidates and CET
    appeared candidates in line with rule 11 B of prevailing notification.

    All are required to follow central / state government guidelines and


    protocols regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

    All the heads of Self Financed Institutes are hereby informed to


    complete the admission process as per above procedure, schedule
    mentioned in the advertisement and as above and submit the files
    along with relevant formats (available on committee's website) to this
    office for vacant seats endorsement latest by 1.12.2020, Tuesday
