CHRISTMAS CAROLERS

You will need

 3 paper tubes
 3 child size socks
 3 elastic bands
 3 pieces of paper, 2"x2" for faces
 3 pieces of tan paper, 1"x2" for
songbooks
 Paint
 Stamps, optional
 Paintbrush
 Ribbon
 Black marker

Directions

1. Paint paper tubes and set aside to dry. 2. Stamp tube to embellish if desired. 3. Cut out the
face and add eyes and a mouth. Glue to tube. 4. Cut off the foot of the sock and close end with
an elastic band. 5. Cover elastic band with Raffia, ribbon, wool, cloth, etc. 6. Place hat on
tube. 7. Fold and glue songbook to Caroler.

Print sheet music onto tan paper to make it look old or print sheet music from the computer.
Teachers, ask parents to donate missed/matched socks.

You will need

 1 piece of background paper,

11"x17"
 1 piece of gray/tan paper 8"x11"
Cut in the following measurements
1 rectangle, 5"x6"
2 rectangles, 2"x6"
2 rectangle, 1.5"x2"
2 triangles, each side 2.5"
2 triangles, each side 1.5"
4 squares, 1"x1"
 1 piece of brown paper, 4"x6"

Directions

1. Paint or color grass and rocks on the background paper. 2. Have shapes precut so the
children will only need to assemble the castle. 3. Glue shapes to paper.
