TRAGEDY

It has been so heavy lately,

With all the events that we encountered.
Being part of the COVID family
Is losing our loved ones that has suffered from it.

The floods that occur in coastal areas

Typhoons and storms that destroy our homes.
They mess up our 2020 ideas
Although we’re firm enough to hold.

Unless we move and don’t give up,

We stumble and fall.
Well, let’s help each now,
Then we could get up and fight.

There are children crying,

People dying, elders starving,
They scream and they tear all along.
Flames are sparking, fire is burning
Nature’s where they don’t belong.
We’re all trapped in these tragedies
Well that’s reality; however we find a way to get over this
So we remain to live

Hold on close, hold on tight

We’ll be safe and we’ll fly.
