For a healthy life, it is important to drink clean water. We
need pure water for cooking and drinking. Contaminated
water can cause many diseases like diarrhea and cholera.
These health problems become a common problem during the
rainy or hot season. According to reports published by the
WHO, more than 3.4 million deaths occur annually due to
diseases caused by contaminated water. Therefore, consuming
germ-free water is quite important. Let's look at 4 methods
that can help purify water.

Boiling water
Another popular method of water
purification is quite simple. Water is
boiled in a stove for a few minutes to kill
many germs and bacteria. However,
excessive boiling is harmful as it can also
remove a large amount of essential
nutrients. Furthermore, boiling may not be
effective in removing impure particles.
From an economic point of view, boiling is
expensive since it burns a lot of gas.
Filtered water
Filtering dirty water is another important
procedure. These filters generally only
remove large particles or dirt and other
impurities, but cannot remove viruses or
bacteria. The problem is that these
elements can make people sick by causing
stomach disorders.
In other words, filters cannot guarantee
that processed water is safe to drink. The
disadvantage of this method is that the
filters tend to break and lose their
functionality over time. Therefore, they
need to be replaced.
Garrafone water
Container, carafe or bottled water is a
good option. However, the problem is that
we cannot trust the purity of this type of
water. The reason is that we cannot say
for sure if the bottles were mishandled or
not. Apart from this, bottled water is not
cheap to buy. Therefore, this option is not
affordable for most people.
RO water
With RO systems, it is possible to remove
contaminants such as lead, copper,
nitrates and arsenic. In addition, reverse
osmosis units are also good at removing
germs and impurities. Therefore, the
processed water becomes suitable for
consumption.
