The main characters in the play “Macbeth” are Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, King Duncan, the evil witches,
Macduff, Malcolm (King’s son) & Banquo.

2. The themes that are displayed in “Macbeth” is crime, ambition, fantasy, romance, prophecy, hatred &
revenge.

3. This play contributes to the role of being feminist because in paragraph one of the cloze passage, it basically
discusses who Lady Macbeth is and what is her role in the play which is being a housewife in the Macbeth
household. The play also supports the patriarchal idea of being feminist because Lady Macbeth was an
accessory to the murder of King Duncan by convincing her husband, Macbeth, to kill him.
