“At the bookshop”

Sally: Listen, Charles, I´m going to a bookshop. Have you got the list of things you need

Charles: Yes, I have.
Sally: Good! Where is your list?
Charles: Oh… I haven´t got my list in my pocket (bolso). I think it´s upstairs (no andar
de cima) in my bedroom. On the desk, I suppose!
Sally: So, hurry up (despacha-te)! Go and get it.

Inside the bookshop…

Charles: Look mum at those schoolbags (mochila) under that shelf (prateleira). Aren´t
they great?
Sally: Yes, they are.
Charles: Can I have one, please? (posso ter uma?)
Sally: How many schoolbags have you got?
Charles: I have got two…
Sally: So…!
Charles: Look mum that is my English book. I haven´t got it yet (ainda).
Sally: Pick it up (Apanha, Vai buscar), then. Have you got the Maths and Portuguese
books already (já)?
Charles: Yes, I have. They are next to (ao lado) the English book. Look at this pencil-
case (estojo). It´s so colourful! Can I have one, please?
