As a KSBL graduate, how will you contribute to building the economic future of
Pakistan?
Education and the economy are two interlinked terms. Capitalizing on better
economic opportunities hinges upon the contributions made by the learned workforce. As
pithily put by Bill Owens “a strong economy begins with a strong, well-educated workforce”.
All this is well consistent with the theories of human capital, innovation approach, and
knowledge transfer.
As a KSBL graduate, I’ll be well equipped with pioneering skills, abilities, and
strengths that will ultimately lead to greater productivity and improved capabilities to make
constructive contributions wherever I work. Such contributions on my part will eventually
improve long-term prospects for the economy of Pakistan and will help shape a better
economic future of my beloved country. Because a state is nothing in itself, but the
institutions and the organizations that make it a state, a better and greater state, a prosperous
state, by producing and adding to the human capital – from institutions (graduates) to
organizations (professionals).
Above and beyond, leadership is essential and prerequisite to all the things
aforementioned. Since KSBL produces leaders, and leaders are to influence people, their
attitude and mindset, their behavior, also good leaders influence the milieu where they live
and work. By being able to transfer such leadership traits, I’ll be surely serving my country to
the best of my potential, and to serve the country is to add to the economy of the country, to
build its future – the brighter one.
becomes part of GDP triggering an increase in the income of the country. All such activities
boost the economy making a country more affluent.
