PROJECT: PWD Cultural Complex

Progress Report:

Week nine (9) of Architectural Design eight (8), we’ve reached the chapter 4 stage of our
research study, Data Presentation and Analysis. We’ve determined the type of initial project
development we are striving to achieve, knowing the problem its society/community faces.
We’ve also accomplished gathering academic journals, books, and case studies which might
help in determining our design process and ideas. We are still in the process of researching
more reviews of related literature to further enhance our knowledge and design intent
capabilities.

Now, we are in the process of data presentation and analysis. Listed are the data we’re
able to gather:

 We’ve yet to analyse properly the behavioural, medical, physical, and cultural properties
of our targeted user profile due to the complexity of different categories involved in the context
of PWDs. But we’ve identified our target user and its delimitation/s (persons with: chronic
illness, mental disability.

We are currently researching activities conducted and will be provided by the LGU of
Carmona, Cavite which focuses on PWD representation and awareness. And what kinds of
activities will we include in the development for space and time consideration.

To conclude this progress report, we’ve gathered a sufficient amount of information and
available data to start analysing our chosen site and the target user’s behavioural and cultural
patterns.
