terkait kegiatan sekolah, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.

3. Why is it recommended that teachers develop their own teaching materials? And why
shouldn’t they depend on only the available course books?

ANSWER :
1. A curriculum contains goals or expectations that students must achieve after learning. That
is, every curriculum made by the education government is to create a better education
where the existing curriculum students will be able to achieve the goals of learning and can
even implement it in life. then the students are the nation's future generation which is
expected to be able to become a good nation's successor so that every curriculum that is
made always tries the best for education

“meaning that in the context of material development, in learning we will discuss


and learn about "announcements" by distinguishing their social functions, understanding the
structure of the text and the linguistic elements used in the announcement text. Then we
will learn how to provide and request information related to school activities in accordance
with the context of their use. Then students are expected to be able to achieve and
understand each material and the objectives of learning”
3. Teachers are advised to develop their own teaching materials so that teachers can develop
and make materials according to their students and their surroundings. Because for students,
often too much material makes them confused, for that, the teacher needs to make teaching
materials to be a guide for students because he knows how his own students. and as teachers
we do not depend only on the available course books because the teaching materials can
come from anywhere, for example the surroundings, through pictures can even use
technology, namely the internet
4. The material organizing approach in material development is very important because with
the material organizing approach, the teacher will know the concept of the teaching material
to be taught and develop the concept. So in organizing learning and delivering learning
materials, there are important things that must be considered by a teacher so that learning
can run well and quickly. for example learning about compound, when teaching compound
material the teacher must first know what compound is, its language structure and the
language future used.
5. Needs analysis often has to be done prior to the material development process so that the
material can really be mastered by the teacher and can be understood and accepted by
students. then, the material is made appropriate and expected to be able to achieve learning
objectives.
