INTRODUCTION:
In any organization Human resource department plays a big role for running the organization. Its
purpose is to hire the persons on the basis of their own skills. Human resource also includes the
people who are currently working in the company. The term human resource was first introduced
in 1960s when there rose the need of strong relationship between labors and other necessary
factors that played a significant role in the development of human resource department are high
spirits and behavior in organization. This part of organization serves as the good organizer and
sorter of every issue related to employees and organization. Discussion regarding human talent
comes under the umbrella of human resource.
It is generally preferred that human resource management should be good. First company’s
culture is judged. Then, humans are opted for the specific position in the organization. This gives
luster to the working environment and the overall efficiency of the organization is increased.
People must be engaged so that they can give their best to increase the reputation of the
organization in the market. This characteristic is very essential to uplift the human resource. In
actual sense, the term human resource includes all the people who play their part for the
development of the organization. Regular employees or the persons on contract can be included
in the human resource. However, the more acceptable method to manage the agency workers
who work for different companies simultaneously. The people who are selected as contractors
have also to be managed in a specific way than the regular employees.
Another term that is conceptually used in human resource is robotization. Now a days, every
kind of business has been digitalized. The interaction between human and digital devices has
expanded. Therefore, human resource management also takes the responsibility of managing
such digitalized system to make it more efficient and reliable for the development of the
organization. Human resource management embodies a specific number of people who perform
several functions to make human resource more reliable and smarter. The selection and hiring of
the candidates can be best done by HR department. Everyday workout of employees is
monitored. Their ability and mentality are trained according to the culture of the company. After
every specific interval, employees are trained so that they can do their best to increase the
chances of achieving goal and desired target.
The plans are designed for future achievements. Highly organized strategy and well-developed
ideas are presented to achieve these goals. The recruitment of individuals in the organization is
an important process. The candidate must possess desirable characteristics to fit in the company.
The attitude and behavior of the candidates is highly focused. The distribution and management
of the benefits among the employees is also decided by the human resource management. All the
system that regulates the human resource management is updated and checked after every
specific interval. Of all the processes, the main element of human resource management is the
hiring of the best candidates that must be done prudently and cautiously. This will increase the
chances of achieving the desired goal. Second important thing that needs to be focused is to
analyze the performance of employees and provide them good training to increase their
competency. Generally, employees are judged on annual basis. Then, they are given certificate of
better performance.
CURRENT TRENDS:
Nowadays, Human resource department employees are focusing on the workplace issues. They
are hiring physically or mentally well-prepared people so this is not good for the unemployed or
handicapped person because now companies are doing differentiation with the people like if
someone has good communication skills and other work-related skills but he is handicapped so
they should not select him. Those who do not have those skills but physically or mentally strong
then they select them. Here is the equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) which
has decided to watch carefully five employers’ issue.

DIFFERENTIATION AGAINST THOSE WITH HANDICAPPED:


In the year 2020, The commission decided to change its rule regarding handicapped person.
Those who are working well except physical work so they should be selected to work in any
organization but in any organization, if they give order to lift 20 pounds so the commission
should take action against that organization. The commission also decided to take action against
limitation in the leave policy for the handicapped employees. If anyone who is handicapped and
decided to go to relax his mind so there is a limit if he will not come after 12 weeks so he will be
terminated. They should also have facility to work from home like the recent example pandemic
situation all the people have done their work from home because people were facing
transportation issue.

CO-OPERATIVE PREGNANCY-RELATED LIMITATIONS:


In last few years we have also seen the gender inequality issues. Women were facing so many
difficulties in their pregnancy time period. The Equal Employment opportunity commission
could not create this law for women but now they have made changes in their policies.
Employees insist to give leave to women in their pregnancy time period and not only for FMLA
leave. Give leave to temporary disability because after operation she should continue her career
and also come back to her job. This decision may be kept to maintain gender equality for the
employers. If she works in pregnancy time period so company should construct a common room
or rest room because whenever women feel tired so she can be going for rest or may go for leave
because this time condition is very critical. Company is also responsible to give them rest or may
give maternity leave.

SAFEGUARD TRANSGENDER FROM DIFFERENTIATION BASED ON


GENDER:
Transgender people also have rights to work in any organization because how they will earn
money for their families that’s why The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
make polices for the transgender to work freely in an any organization. If in any department,
managers receive complaint from transgender employees so immediately take action against him
those who are breaking the law. All the managers should treat them the same way as they treat
other gender employees. No one can differentiate him or her from other employees of the
organization and as the company gives salary package to the male or female gender so should
not differentiate with other gender employees.

CONTRACT EMPLOYEES RIGHTS:


Sometimes Human resource managers hiring people for 6 months or 1-year contract base so they
should also have rights as you would have treated with your permanent employees otherwise,
they will be claim against his or her rights in The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
When the company gives work after the office timings so as they give overtime charges for their
permanent employees but they did not give their contract base employees now the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission change the rule for the temporary workers. Whenever
company gives the extra work for temporary workers their responsibility to pay overtime with
their salaries because they are giving time for your company after leaving their families so
company should be careful about their temporary workers. After completed the contract
company decided to which candidate is better for their organization. Companies have selected
from the temporary workers on the basis of their computer skills, learning skills or
communications skills.

RECOGNIZE SMOOTH SKILLS TO BE STRONG SKILLS IN 2020

In the workplace more routine task attend by A1 on the daily basis, as represented in McKinsey's
Global Institute report, Jobs Lots and Jobs Gained, The labor force in a time of Transition there
will be an exceed need for employees to hone their "smooth skills," or what I have called "strong
skills" in the chapter I wrote for the Federal Reserve publication, Navigating the Future
Workplace: The New strong Skills for Jobs of the Future. These include a combination of
smooth skills, thinking skills, and modern skills. Taken together, in 2020 these skills are good for
the future planning.
TRENDINGS ARE ON THE WAY
Human resources work honestly to promote their employees by giving good environment,
incentives or without remotely work. Human resources department focusing on the provide skills
or something new because they represent the organization in whole over the world. Multinational
companies’ strategies are totally different from the local companies that’s why local companies’
employees are not doing work on the long-term basis.

ONBOARDING
This is main process for human resources to modernize the environment in any organization.
Onboarding using for initiative level hiring like recently graduates or fresher students can apply
these organization. Organization wants to learn new skills for their new employees because they
want to become an effective member for that organization. If Employer failed to get job so it
does not mean that sit at home always tried every where and should motivate himself that I can
do it.
