SMILE
Despite of those problems we face everyday, smile. For all those downfalls we
encountered, smile. For every failures we’ve experience, smile. And lastly, for every worries,
stress, loneliness and pain we feel, smile. You might ask why I should smile if I can’t? Last
Sunday, Fr. Amadeo shared two stories during the homily. And the last one hits me the most. It
was about a girl who intent to jump on a bridge but for the last time, she ask God a sign that if
she see someone, just only one person who can smile at her she won’t jump. Then Fr. Amadeo
finished the story asking “If you are the person who pass by there, will you smile at her?” The
lesson here is not just about smiling to others, it also tells us to share the love we have and to
give happiness to others. It is about making a change that starts within us. Sometimes we haven’t
know or either realize that those small acts and things we make can have a great impact to
someone and can even change their lives. From that day, I started to walk while smiling to others
because I always tell myself “Smile, for you are loved”, so you SMILE for GOD LOVES US.
