ACTIVITY 1: POSSIBLE SENTENCES

What message is being conveyed by the video presented?

“No Man is an Island.” This is the very essence the video is trying to convey to its viewers.
It reminds us that there is nothing wrong on being reliant on other people. No one can change the
world alone. We have to amplify the sense of humanity and work with each other in achieving one
goal. Just like how our planet works, it cannot bring balance to itself alone, it needs the living
things in its surface to create actions that influences huge movements. It conveys the essence of
belongingness to the whole community we are in that each action influences the lives of another.
It bears a brief but powerful message that we can only realize our full potential through synergizing
with others. It shows how one can make a difference, uplift and influence each other, and
transform a simple act to create a movement together.

Based on the video, how will you define leadership?

Leadership is synergizing with your group towards achieving a goal and helping each
other. It was clearly presented in the video that each goose takes turns on leading the formation
for the group. If the goose leading the group tires, one from the formation will take its place to
lead the group. It is as simple as helping each other. A leader does not necessarily mean being a
dominant player to influence your group to perform better and connect with one another but rather
as someone who influences the group at the same time submits to his comrades. A leader does
not have to step up in order to help his group but only settles on the ground where his comrades
are and there he helps his group in helping one another. Leadership is inside all of us. Just like
how each goose can be the leader in the formation, we all must take turns and not only rely on a
single person to achieve a certain goal. A leader is not someone who only gives orders but also
performs it. We are all leaders but only differs in our way of leading.
