In my opinion, local partnership will definitely help the host country as there are different rules and
regulations in different countries. Thus, the host country would be benefitting from the law on both
sides. Although each country makes its own rules and regulation and policies about partnership,
however, a country can truly benefit from the partnership if it has stronger laws regarding it.
In this case, it is quite evident that the Domino's is the culprit and therefore, it should be held liable for
this incident. This is because, being a franchisor, Domino's, hold the responsibility to make sure that the
MAC pizza restaurant is meeting the safety requirement as per the contract. However, the MAC Pizza is
also responsible in this case and should also be held liable as it did not follow the safety requirements.
The main lesson I learned In this week is the benefits of sole proprietorship as well as the draw back.
