Shake your balloon

Say the rhyme out loud & match movement to the words.

"Shake, shake, shake. Shake your balloon." (shake right hand)


"Shake, shake, shake. Shake your balloon." (shake left hand)
"Now stretch your balloon." (open arms wide miming stretching & bending to the
right side)
"Stretch your balloon." (open arms wide miming stretching & bending to the left
side)
"Stretch up high…" (open arms wide above head)
"…and stretch down low." (bend forward towards floor while stretching arms wide)

Mime blowing up a balloon, taking deep breaths in through the nose and exhaling
through the nose.
Use your hands to show the balloon inflating.
After a four deep breaths, pop your balloons by clapping hands together & saying
pop!

Objective: An Imagination exercise that gets learners up on their feet and


engages their body,
Five Fingers:

Everyone holds up one hand showing their 5 fingers 🖐. The facilitator asks some
questions that require yes-no answers; Whenever the answer to a question is NO,
one drops a finger.

Objective: A Call and response activity which can be used to get to know the
group. It can be used to check prior knowledge or as a reflection activity. It is also
a good empathy builder amongst peers.

Virtual Magic Box

The Facilitator mimes opening a magic box and takes out objects and passes it to
the learners by bringing it close to the camera. The Learners receive the objects
as they see passed to them.

Objective: An imagination exercise to bring objects to life.
