Since I was little, I have loved cars, I really like speed and how we can feel inside a sports
car and super-fast is unmatched, so in my presentation we will talk about one of the car
brands that I like the most, for me is one of the best known sports car brands in the world,
it is a brand that has great designs and cars with spectacular engineering, I like this brand
very much because they are fast, beautiful and luxurious, in addition to not being
impossible to buy, since they have a very good price for what they are.
History: Audi is a German multinational company that made luxury and sports cars, the
main place of sales is in Ingolstadt, Bavaria and it has been part since 1965 as Bentley,
Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat. This company was originally established in 1885, later
becoming a branch of Audi AG. Another company, NSU, which also later merged into Audi, was
founded during this time, and later supplied the chassis for Gottlieb Daimler's four-wheeler. The
company name is based on the Latin translation of the surname of the founder, August
Horch. "Horch", meaning "listen" in German, becomes "Audi" in Latin. The four rings of
the Audi logo each represent one of four car companies that banded together to create
Audi's predecessor company, Auto Union. Audi's slogan is Vorsprung durch Technik,
meaning "Being Ahead through Technology". However, Audi USA had used the slogan
"Truth in Engineering" from 2007 to 2016 and have not used the slogan since 2016.
Ingolstadt, Bavaria: This is the main place of Audi car production. It has about 10
thousand cars in the day. In this this place are all the production offices, and they prepare
the colors of the cars and their accessories.
August Horch: August Horch is the founder of this car brand. The company name is based
on the Latin translation of the surname of the founder, August Horch. "Horch", meaning
"listen" in German, becomes "Audi" in Latin.
The four rings: The four rings of the Audi logo each represent four car companies that banded
together to create Audi's company. Audi's slogan is Vorsprung durch Technik, meaning "Being
Ahead through Technology". So, Audi was managed by four companies.
