Clariant offers several specialized adsorbent products for

gas purification. We have a long history of experience and
success in process catalyst and absorbents, building from
predecessor company Süd-Chemie. Our targeted capabili-
ties now extend to the growing market of gas processing.
Sulfur Adsorbents
ActiSorb GP100 and GP200 series of iron-based and mixed metal oxide-based adsorbents
are used for the removal of impurities, such as hydrogen sulphide (H2S), mercaptans (R-SH),
and carbonyl sulfide (COS) from hydrocarbon streams.

· Free flowing at removal, so water blasting is NOT required

Mercury Adsorbents
ActiSorb GP400 series of carbon-based and mixed metal oxide-based adsorbents are used in
applications that require the removal of high levels of mercury (Hg). These adsorbents are
extremely effective at eliminating impurities to enable safe downstream operations.
