vDebate in English

Any economists argue that practice has greatly added to the development of the economy. For
them, recruiting workers on a short-term basis provides the unemployed with jobs. This
strengthens the state of the economy in the long term. Contractualization also encourages
versatility in staffing for firms. In other words, it facilitates an effective and productive
environment by combining both normal and temporary employes.

temporary job definitely offers advantages to the job seeker:

 Temporary jobs can be precisely the position the seeker needs, with a time limit for
the jobs requirement.
 It creates a revenue source as the "real" job hunt continues. (We called this the "salary
continuation plan" in the past.)
 It may give the job seeker a chance to "test drive" a job, an employer, a profession, or
an industry.
 The job seeker has an opportunity to start their career migration to a new field.
  Today, large and small corporations are asked to supply
 a number of requirements, including flexible working arrangements for their e
mployees.
 One of the positive effect of being a contractualization is contracted
employees provides greater flexibility in taking a plan than a regular/
permanent employees. They're making their own schedule and they
set their own time to achieve work life balance.

ometimes, it opens the door to a permanent job, often referred to as "temp-to-perm." These jobs
give both the employee and the employer an opportunity to see how they work together

Actually, Contractualization isn't bad. The abuse of the system is the bad one.

Contractualization is intended to be used to hire people for short-term, temporary (and possibly

specialized) work.

The misuse of contractualization that's being opposed by labor groups is when a company hires

people on a contractual basis, and then their short-term (like 6 months) contract runs out ... and

then they're simply re-hired again. And again. And again, such that the contractual workers never

become regular employees.

It is safe to say that the deal might have been violated. There is a valid basis to speak of

violations. Although on the other hand, it is risky to condemn contractualisation as a concept

when there are specific markets and businesses in our economy that work on the basis of

contracts.

Construction is a verygood example of this.Construction contracts are often contract-based and

of course, if the projectis contract-based, the majority of the workers you hire are contract-

based.I cannot understand how the prohibition of contractualisation would operate in the sense of

sectors such as manufacturing,

QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED TO YOU

Makatarungan ba tanggalin ang contractualization?

outlawing the practice of contractualization can throw about a million workers out of a job.

Because businesses cannot hire them contractually, this will also cause a drought for

companies as the latter will lose an option to hire workers for the short term

(Contracts are done) usually for a particular feature film or for a

particular television series and when that’s done, the work is over. There

are many other sectors of the economy where the only way you can hire

people is through contracts, and therefore there is a legitimate reason

behind contractualization,

How can you make sure that it will be easy for them to find another job?

Today, large and small corporations are asked to supply
a number of requirements, including flexible working arrangements for their employees.
Providing temporary work is probably the best step they could
take to provide the necessary flexibility while meeting their own needs.
Don’t you think employers are taking advantage of this loophole to pay less salaries so that they can
earn more?

Contractization isn't bad, really. The misuse of the system is a negative thing. Contractization is meant to

be used to employ workers for short-term, contractual (and probably specialized) jobs. The abuse of

contractualisation, which is protested by labour organisations, happens when a business employs workers

on a contractual basis, and then their short-term (like 6 months) contract expires ... And then they're all re-

hired again. And yet again. And again, in such a manner that the contract employees never become

REGULAR EMPLOYEES.
