(CMEGP)

UNDERTAKING
(To be furnished by the applicant which is mandatory)

_________________district in Maharashtra State hereby declare that,

1. I have read and understood the guidelines and terms and conditions of CMEGP
Scheme, the eligibility criteria such as Age, Qualification, Domicile of
Maharashtra, Own Contribution and definition of Urban/ Rural areas as envisaged
in scheme guidelines.
2. I understand that Directorate of Industries under the aegis of Industries
Department, Government of Maharashtra is the Nodal Agency for CMEGP
Scheme and that the CMEGP Scheme is being implemented through District
Industries Centre (DIC) and KVIB, District offices.
3. I understand that application under CMEGP has to be submitted online to DIC and
KVIB as per area bifurcation.
4. I understand that my application will be scrutinized by District Level Committee
and if found eligible and appropriate will be recommended to respected Banks
(Branch).
5. I understand that District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) is the authority to
take the decision for recommendation of proposal to Bank. If the bank has not
found financial viability of the project or any other reason/proofs observed during
the process as negative/ not to be as mark the proposal may not be finally
sanctioned by Bank (Branch).
6. Only one person from one family is eligible for obtaining financial assistance for
setting up of projects under CMEGP. The ‘family’ includes self and spouse.
7. I am fully aware that SUBSIDY is a “one-time assistance” from Government of
Maharashtra and is back-ended subsidy.
8. I agree and abide by the condition that once the SUBSIDY is released in favour of
the loanee, it will be kept in the Term Deposit Receipt (TDR) of three years at
Financing Branch in the name of the beneficiary. No interest will be paid on the
TDR and no interest will be charged on loan to the corresponding amount of TDR.
9. I agree and abide by the condition that though the SUBSIDY will be released by
the concerned DIC or KVIB (sponsoring implementing agency) is the authority to
either accept or reject the claim based on the parameters of the Scheme. I shall not
initiate any legal proceedings against DIC or KVIB before any court of law for
rejecting the SUBSIDY claim on any justifiable ground.
10.I declare that I am not beneficiary of any other subsidy linked self-employment
promotion scheme being implemented by Central Govt, State Govt, Corporation
etc.
11.It is also certified that the unit proposed to be located at the address given in the
application is a new unit and I will be responsible for the safety and security of the
asset creation by CMEGP support.
12.I agree and abide by the condition to attend the necessary "Residence based
Entrepreneurship Training Programme (REDP)" of 1 Week (for Service Sector) or
2 weeks (for Manufacturing sector) as defined in the scheme guidelines.
13.I agree to display following sign-board at the main entrance of my project site: -

14.I agree to refund the part/full amount of SUBSIDY (subsidy) to financing Bank
branch to remit the Government subsidy to DIC or KVIB kept in the TDR in the
event of non- fulfilment of scheme guidelines/norms or any discrepancies / mal-
practices observed during the process.
15.I agree that DIC or KVIB is a final authority to accept/reject or call back
SUBSIDY sanctioned in favour of me if the unit is found to be ineligible to claim
SUBSIDY/ or for any reasons whatsoever and in the event, I shall refund the
entire/part M.M. received on my project to DIC or KVIB.
16.I agree to permit officials of DIC or KVIB, Bank and or an agency authorized to
conduct physical verification of the unit and will provide all the information about
my unit and produce/show required documents including books of account to
them.
17.It is hereby declared that all the information furnished by me with application are
correct and if any information is found to be false or misleading and made with the
ulterior motive of availing Govt. Subsidy, DIC or KVIB shall be free to prosecute
me or to initiate any other legal proceedings as deemed fit.
