Example for super type or sub type relationship


Sub type:
The sub type relationship is a grouping of entities type in single entity that shares the common attributes or relationships different from other
grouping.
Super type:
The super type relationship is an entity type that has the relation with one or more subtypes and it contains the common attributes of its sub types.

Step-2
Conditions for using the super type or sub type relationship by database designer:
• Attributes are applied to some of the entity type instances but not all the entity type instances. It is useful for the enhancement of the relationship
provided by the super-type.
• Relationships are applied to some of the entity type instances but not all the entity type instances. This improves the entities of all form and
provides the accurate information.
