    STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

    This study aims to determine the capabilities of chitosan-nanosilica-hydroxyapatite

    nanofibers as bioscaffold for cartilage regeneration.

    Specifically, this study is concerned with seeking answers to the following questions:

    1. How can the unimmersed chitosan-nanosilica-hydroxyapatite nanofibers be

    described in terms of

    a) Toxicity; and

    b) Mean Fiber Diameter

    2. How can the immersed chitosan-nanosilica-hydroxyapatite nanofibers be

    described in terms of

    a) Toxicity; and

    b) Mean Fiber Diameter

    3. Is there a significant difference between the unimmeresed and immersed chitosan-

    nanosilica- hydroxyapatite nanofibers in terms of mean fiber diameter?

    4. Is there a significant difference between unimmeresed and immersed

    chitosan-nanosilica-hydroxyapatite nanofibers be described in terms of Chemical

    Structure?
