Twisted Trivia

Opening Number – Stars And The Moon (Noah)

Intro/Trivia Round 1 – (Daniel)

“Good Evening ladies, gentlemen and all of you are that are still deciding, to VCA
Company 19’s Twisted Tunes & Trivia Night!

Well we have got a fantastic night ahead of us folks! We have got performances
consisting of some of the most popular and not so popular broadway tunes that have
been slightly twisted in one way or another… and of course to accompany our
performers tonight we have the amazing Joshua James Webb on the keys! “Give him
a nice hand” and we have also got our Trivia quiz with some fantastic prizes to be
won - which include…. *Prizes*, so hopefully you’ve assembled your potentially
winning team and are ready to play!

So let’s talk about how the night will work, we’ve got three rounds of trivia each within
their own category, we’ve got General Knowledge, Entertainment and then a Multiple
Choice and at the end of each category we will come around and collect your answer
forms just before the start of our wonderful performances. At end of the three rounds
we will then announce our winner! Who will be the lucky group to take home some of
those fantastic prizes!…… Speaking of prizes we also have a raffle that will be going
on throughout the evening - so be sure to lookout for Brandon & Lily who will be
floating around to get yourself some raffle tickets… who knows, yours might be the
winning ticket *cough* Ron & MARG..!!

Now lets kick off the trivia night! BUT BEFORE WE DO make sure that you have
chosen your team names and put those at the top of the answer sheet just so we can
identify you at the end and to keep you all up to date with the leaderboard! and now
just some rrrrrules to stipulate. Firstly we know you’ve all thought about it before
tonight… “Hmm I know what might help me win…. How can I get the upper
advantage? NO ONE WILL SEE ME DO IT, YOU WRITE DOWN THE ANSWERS AND
I”LL DO IT ON THE SIDE” In fact i’m sure you’re all thinking about doing it right now
before we start… but STRICTLY NO BRIBING JESS WITH ALCOHOL TO TRY AND WIN
TONIGHTS TRIVIA - No but on a more serious note….. there will be NO USING OF
MOBILE PHONES to help you! Whether thats using google… or sending a text
message to your mum… or your daughter… or Uncle Ray who goes fishing on the
weekend and might know the answer to the scientific name of the Yarra river brown
trout! There will also be no discussing with other tables - lets keep that true blue
Aussie competitiveness and please refrain from helping others!

Oh.. he’s probably in the bathrooms…

and collect them and whilst we do that I’d like you all to put your hands together as
we’ve now got some fantastic performances from Ben, Darcey… and hopefully

And before we have the final number of the evening id like to just do a few thank
you’s. Firstly to La Di Da and all the helpful members of staff that allowed us to put on
this evening. Secondly to Jess & Ben for organising the event and also to Jess’s Dad
for helping with the infrastructure and setting up and to Tom for providing us with all
of our great questions. To Josh for providing us with some fantastic accompaniment
and finally id like to thank all of YOU for coming and supporting us before our
showcase and our tour to Sydney. Also to thank you for donating so generously as
really appreciate all of the support you have shown us for the past three years, we
really wouldn’t of been able to put any of these evenings on if wasn’t for your
continuous support and love that we receive from you all!

And now before we start to reflect too heavily on our time here at the VCA and get all
emotional I’d like to invite Chris to bring us home!
