Assuming that the opposition takes the “end justifies the means” stand, here are logical

questions to ask:

 According to moral and natural law, even for civic law, murder is not justifiable. How,
then, would one justify Macbeth’s murder/killing of Duncan? Of Banquo? Of Macduff’s
family?
 Just to feed his greed for power, Macbeth resorted to immoral means. How are those
justified?
 To wash their hands clean of the murder, they smeared blood into the servants they
drugged to sleep and picked on them for the crime. How is that justified? Is it, then,
justifiable to commit a crime and blame it on others?
